Free Friday featuring a Movie Night Free Fridays are back! The Intrepid Museum is once again extending its hours free of charge on select Fridays every month from April through September from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Celebrate the Museum’s 40th anniversary and enjoy special programs, including a movie under the stars on Intrepid’s flight deck.
The Intrepid Museum’s summer movie series returns and kicks off Memorial Day Weekend with, Crimson Tide
Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets to view the film outdoors, free of charge, on a huge inflatable screen on the flight deck. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Light concessions will be sold onsite, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is NOT permitted. All exits are final; there is no reentry allowed. Movie will begin at sunset.

Claymore Vets: Tree of Life Sculpture
Claymore Vets is a woman veteran founded nonprofit that aims to shift paradigms for social change and reconnection. Its mission is to cultivate a creative and connected community of veterans, first responders and artists to foster social reconnection and growth rooted in clay and visual arts. They are facilitating a live visual conversation, The Tree Of Life, which is a mixed media installation that will be co-created by veterans and artists as a memorial to a veteran they lost. A Field Cross sculpture will serve as the foundation for the branches that will hold the memories of leaves of the fallen. Visitors will have the opportunity to create a leaf in memory of a lost veteran, and add it to the tree in honor of their service and life.
USO: Gaming Mobile Experience
The USO will have a new interactive gaming mobile trailer experience debuting for the first time during Fleet Week. Visitors will have a chance to go inside the station and experience different gaming stations including Xbox, PlayStation and gaming PC.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the volunteer component of the U.S. Coast Guard. As experts in boating safety and boating education they work to ensure everyone has a safe and fun time on the water.

Memorial Day ceremony
Join us for a solemn ceremony honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have given their lives in defense of our nation. Civic and military leaders will offer remarks and join in a special wreath laying ceremony in honor of the fallen. The ceremony concludes with veterans unfurling a 100-foot U.S. flag, Taps and a flyover by Navy fighter jets.
