All members of your party must possess a general admission ticket for entry into the museum.
NYC Residents receive 50% off general Museum admission when presenting a valid government-issued photo ID with a printed address, or a current utility or mortgage statement with an address within the five boroughs and name that matches their photo ID. Discount is eligible for all those in qualifying households. May not be combined with other discounts or applied to group sales.
Free Admission
Museum members at all levels enjoy unlimited free admission all year.

Children under 5
Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cardholders.
The Museum offers free admission to personal care assistants coming to the Museum in support of visitors with disabilities. The offer is administered in person at the Museum’s box office.
COVID-19 vaccination and face coverings are not required, but strongly recommended for all visitors. Learn more here.
Upcoming closures
Saturday, July 1 - The Concorde experience will be temporarily closed while Concorde is relocated offsite for necessary maintenance. The experience and exhibit will re-open to the public in Spring 2024.
Monday, July 10 - The entire Museum will be closed.

Accessibility
The Museum provides resources to support and enhance the experience of all visitors, including those with disabilities and their peers and families. Sensory guides, assisted listening devices and portable stools are a few of the resources available in the welcome center and info desk.
Free Programs and Demonstrations
Many of these onsite programs are temporarily suspended, visit the Museum's live stream page here for many virtual offerings.
Intrepid Adventures are special weekend programs specifically designed for children and their parents or caregivers guarantee that your day at the Intrepid Museum will be fun and educational! Education demonstrations are short family-friendly talks highlighting the Museum's artifacts and exhibits. Contact the information desk for more information.
Food and Gift Shops
The Museum offers two dining options: Aviator Cafe on the second floor of the Welcome Center overlooking Pier 86 and Intrepid Marketplace (temporarily closed) located on the Mess deck level of the ship. The Welcome Center gift shop features items inspired by the history, science and technology on display at the Museum. The Space Shuttle Pavilion store offers gifts for space enthusiasts of all ages.
