Live Streams
The Intrepid Museum continues to provide unique content through weekly livestreams on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. The programming will leverage the Museum’s unique position at the intersection of history, science, technology and innovation. Delivered by a combination of in-house experts and special guests, the content will feature:


  • Interactive conversations with astronauts, scientists, astronomers, aviation experts and other guests
  • Opportunities to discover the science, technology and stories behind some of the world’s most fascinating aircraft, spacecraft, ships and submarines such as the space shuttle Enterprise, British Airways Concorde and the famed Lockheed A-12
  • Behind-the-scenes looks at the Museum and its artifacts including little seen and off-limits to the public areas
  • A chance to follow along with the process of maintaining and restoring our famed aircraft collection

Live From the Intrepid Museum: the Missile Submarine Growler

Join the Intrepid Museum’s Curator of History and Collections Jessica Williams as she takes you on a live tour of a once top-secret nuclear missile submarine including areas not usually visible to visitors. Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) Mission
Thursday, December 16 | 5:30pm – 7:30pm ET

The Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission is a planetary defense-driven test of technologies for preventing an impact of Earth by a hazardous asteroid. Hear from mission manager, Scott Bellamy as he talks about this launch, (set for November 2021) and gives a behind the scenes look at the mission and what the future holds.
